Jay-Z Leads 2018 Grammy Awards Nominations | Full List Of Nominees


Nominations for 2018 Grammy awards is out with music mogul Jay-Z taking the highest nods and respected rapper Kendrick Lamar following closely.

Jay-Z grabbed eight nominations, while Kendric Lamar who has also been impressive in the year under review, got seven nods, Bruno Mars is the third most-nominated artist with six nominations.

Daddy Yankee’s massive music ‘Despacito’ was nominated for ‘Record of the Year’, alongside Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Childish Gambino. This is a tough on for ‘Despacito’ that also got another nomination in the ‘Song of the year’ category’.

Recording Academy President and CEO Neil Portnow said, ”I’m inspired by this year’s nominees and the incredible talent each possesses. Their recordings are a true testament to how creatively alive and meaningful our music industry has become.

“Each nominee uses their craft to inspire, uplift, and tell stories of our world through their artistry. They provide a vibrant soundtrack that represents the highest level of excellence and continues to impact and reflect our culture.”

2018 Grammy awards will be held on January 28, at the New York’s Madison Square Garden and will be hosted by James Corden.
